MEMOIR OF SEPTIMUS SEARS SEA304
MEMOIR OF SEPTIMUS SEARS, SEARS, S- Septimus Sears (1817-1877) was for 35 years minister of the gospel at Clifton, Bedfordshire, the originator and editor of the magazines "The Little Gleaner" and "The Sower." The memory of this faithful servant of Christ is sometimes cursed instead of blessed, viz., the shortsightedness of saints and the malice of sinners. His spiritual acquaintance with the grand truths of divine sovereignty, unconditional election and absolute grace, led him to warn the unconverted of their state, and bring forth the sweet invitations of the gospel to the exercised children of God. 226 pp.
