JOHN BUNYAN MCCURE-ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY, ROE, J- The arrival of John Bunyan McCure in Sydney in 1861 heralded an important development in Baptist witness in the city. His bold public preaching extended even to holding a service on board a ship which was attended by 1200 people. Notice was called to the doctrines of grace which he set forth.
